Music and performance
Surviving programs bring together bands, choirs, dance, theater and other live performance. A festival schedule could invite visitors to move between familiar favourites and a new discovery. For named performers and exact times, read the program for the specific historical year.
Art you can take part in
First Night was also a place to make and try things. The Akron Art Museum’s account of First Night 2011 describes a drawing activity with Linda Hutchinson alongside music and dance. That record belongs to 2011; it is not a booking for 2027.
