Akron Symphony Returns to First Night

First Night is the only opportunity to see the Akron Symphony on New Year’s Eve! Back by popular demand, the Akron Symphony will perform at 6:30 p.m. under the stars of the Akron Civic Theatre.

“First Night guests have requested the Symphony’s return to the event,” said Communications Director Sarah Steidl. “We’re thrilled to be able to make it happen this year.”

The Akron Symphony will perform a mix of music from Brahms and Strauss, to the disco hits of the 70s, and the magic of Motown.

A $10 admission button is your ticket to see the Akron Symphony, plus more than 80 other performing and visual artists at First Night.  Children under 10 are admitted free with a button-wearing adult. Buttons can be purchased online until Dec. 27 or at any Acme Fresh Market, and participating FirstMerit Banks.
